John’s one of the most respected guys in the space. He’s built a community. A Wolfpack. He keeps evolving. He leads from the front. And he moves like a guy half his size. I’ve watched him demo complex movements with grace, power, and total control. It’s impressive every time.
He’s been coaching for over 20 years. Helping people improve how they feel, how they move, and how they perform. He believes in clarity, consistency, and building systems that last. He coaches with purpose and delivers results.

A few months back I was heading to Austin for some interviews. I hit up John to see if he’d be down to train. He’s working on new breathwork protocols, and I wanted to test out what he’s building. My buddy Josh Taekman, founder of eBoost, connected me with Danny Amendola—yeah, that Danny Amendola—and we all met up for a session.
It was a great day. We trained, we moved, we breathed, we recovered. The vibe was effortless. The connection was real. That’s what happens when you spend time with people who are walking the walk.
Because let’s be honest. What are we trying to do here? We want to do cool shit with cool people. We want to feel strong. Be happy. Stay healthy. Look good. Have fun. That’s it.
Days like this remind me why I do what I do. I get to connect with incredible people like John, step into their world for a bit, learn something new, and bring those lessons back to all of you.

Is this how you’re supposed to do it?
I read an article in the New York Post this weekend about Josh Duhamel and his so-called “taboo” method for staying youthful and virile. He talks openly about testosterone. About getting older. About wanting to feel good, look good, and perform at his best as a man in midlife.
It struck a chord with me not because it was shocking, but because it wasn’t.
More and more men are going on testosterone. More are finally talking about it. And that’s a good thing because the conversation around men’s health, hormones, and aging is long overdue.
We’re getting married later. Remarried later. Having kids later. We’re living longer, working longer, and trying to stay active the whole way through. If we’re going to do all that (and hopefully do it well) we need to take better care of ourselves. And yes, be able to afford that care, in every sense of the word.
Just this week, Chip Conley republished my andropause article, My Husband’s Gone Andro, in the Modern Elder Academy newsletter. That tells you something. This is no longer fringe. No longer taboo. It’s relevant. It’s personal. It’s real.

Testosterone levels in men have been declining for decades.
A study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism found that today’s average 40-year-old has lower T levels than a 40-year-old did in the 1980s—regardless of health or lifestyle.
After age 30, men lose about 1% of their testosterone every year. By your 50s, that’s a 20–30% drop.
Andropause is real. Call it what you want, low T, male menopause, hormonal decline, it doesn’t matter. When you lack normal testosterone levels it impacts strength, mood, energy, sleep, sex drive, and focus. You’re not imagining it.
